On Stage 5 of the Camino Primitivo, the 17.4-kilometre journey from Pola de Allande to Berducedo becomes a test of endurance as the route climbs 600 metres towards Alto del Palo, passes through remote mountain landscapes and historic pilgrim settlements, and eventually leads to a deeper reflection on perseverance, exhaustion and the quiet strength we discover when we take one more step.
