Camino Primitivo

On the third stage of the Camino Primitivo, we leave medieval Salas and walk through misty valleys, ancient mining country and peaceful Asturian countryside towards Tineo. Along the way we discover Roman gold mining, the new highway, historic churches, Asturian ponies, the traditions of Bolos de Tineo, sacred art and the famous Chosco de Tineo. But the real journey is inward — a day of silence, reflection and searching for meaning.

On the second stage of the Camino Primitivo, we leave Grado and walk towards the medieval town of Salas. Along the way, we discover the beauty of Asturias, ancient monasteries, traditional villages, steep climbs and unexpected moments. But this stage is about more than kilometres. It is about slowing down, disconnecting from everyday noise and discovering that sometimes the journey matters more than how quickly you arrive.
