On Stage 7 of the Camino Primitivo, the journey from Grandas de Salime to Fonsagrada takes us across the mountains of Asturias and into Galicia, passing through forests, quiet villages and the high point of Alto del Acebo. After more than 28 kilometres on the trail, including the final climb into Fonsagrada, the day ends in a peaceful stone house near Padron, overlooking the Galician countryside.

On Stage 6 of the Camino Primitivo, the road from Berducedo to Grandas de Salime takes us from misty mountain meadows and the historic village of Buspol down towards the spectacular Salime Reservoir, where centuries of pilgrimage history meet one of Asturias’ greatest engineering projects.
