What if I just
quit?

After exploring the beautiful historic city of Lugo, it's time to get back on the Camino Primitivo. Today, we're walking approximately 19 km through Galicia, heading towards a very special place to spend the night.

 

But this stage comes with a little twist. Instead of the spectacular mountain views, forest trails and dramatic landscapes we've enjoyed on previous days, we're faced with plenty of asphalt, local roads and a whole lot of heat and humidity.

 

Not exactly the Camino we fell in love with at the beginning! Along the way, we cross the historic Roman bridge over the River Miño, follow the familiar yellow arrows and scallop shells, and make our way through small villages and quiet Galician countryside.
